On a Simple Way to Judge Partners — in Business and in Life

When you’re choosing companions for life or partners in business, surround yourself with people who are generous with their good deeds. Real generosity isn’t only about material things — it’s the ability to share your time, your attention, your support, with no hidden agenda.

Steer clear of the ones whose wounded ego reads every selfless act toward another person as a personal defeat… in some invisible contest for attention and recognition.

Treasure the people who, without hesitation, drop the proverbial likes and hearts ❤️ under your ideas, your initiatives, your posts. And, of course, be ready to do the same. It’s valuable, and it’s psychologically healthy — to support each other and say thank you, rather than treat yourself as the center of the universe and deal with others only for personal gain.

Yes, we’re all busy. But sometimes a single kind word, a bit of praise, can — as they say — make someone’s day.

For most of my life I was — and in some ways still am — pretty “dry” on emotion, and I brushed off what I took for “psychological trifles.” But I came to realize: mutual support is the foundation of how we connect.

It’s the mark of mature people, ready for big things!

Here’s to kindness! 😎
