On Energy

I often hear recommendations, rules, even “laws” you’re supposed to follow to succeed and “make it to the very top”: be decent, keep your word, surround yourself with winners, and so on. Hard to argue with any of that!

But there’s something people mention less often — the “subtle plane.” What we call energy, charisma, charm, inner force.

We see loud, successful bloggers — the ones people joke “aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed” — and yet they pull the attention of millions. We watch entrepreneurs whose eyes burn with passion for what they do. And at the same time, some intellectuals, people of real depth and knowledge, leave us bored despite all their brilliance. There are women of stunning beauty who feel lonely, and others, far from model looks, who draw crowds of admirers.

The higher the level of competition and awareness in this social contest, the blurrier the usual lines between “good” and “evil,” “right” and “wrong” become. It all comes down to the energy a person aims at their goals.

This is a real battle of energies, and those whose inner “capacity” runs too low simply get their energy drained, then tossed to the side of the road — the weakest in natural selection. So just keeping your word and playing by the rules isn’t enough.

It can seem that charisma and inner strength are something you’re born with, something out of our hands. But that’s a myth!

Can these capacities be built? Of course!

First, it’s worth starting with physical health and your hormonal balance. They’re what shape your baseline vitality and ambition. Regular exercise, good food, and rest in nature, away from technogenic vibrations, help restore your inner balance and recharge.

Second, working on your worldview and your mood. A positive outlook and the knack for finding joy in small things are wonderful ways to feel full and alive. Creative expression helps too — drawing, dancing, music, or writing.

Third, the practices of gratitude and of giving. When we give something to others, we set up a circulation of energy through ourselves, and its flow grows.

And of course, let’s not forget social interaction: working with an audience, public speaking, and the daily contact with all kinds of people.

All of these help us level up our energy, expand its capacity, and develop our individual qualities: femininity for women, and brutality — in the best sense of the word — for men.

Here’s to health, charisma, and the energy for whatever you set out to do! 😎
